A few months back, a small twitter hashtag got kind of crazy - #overlyhonestmethods
Its a hashtag full of scientists admitting shortcuts in research, along with the daily face palms and annoyances of a scientific lifestyle. Science is hard, yo.
I decided to steal some of the more popular tweets from the trending hashtag along with some random images of scientists from Google image search and combine them. This is the result. it works, I think.

That first one… Paywalls for obscure publications the hospital doesn’t subscribe to make me hiss and spit at the unfairness of the universe every time, but I never considered just citing the papers anyway

Original story/comic I’ve been wanting to put out for “Mother’s Day” or “Like a Mother’s Day”
Because I usually spend every mother’s day going on and on about “OMG I LUV MY MOM U GUISE”, and not everyone has a mom?? Or has pleasant experiences with said mom?

So I saw the picture of Taylor Swift on Jessi/e’s body and thought “I’m not gonna regret this” and pressed play.
I didn’t.
My parents often warned me that people on the internet could be lying about who they really are but I’ve found that the internet is the only place where are truly themselves and in reality they lie about who they are offline.
